Fiber Assistance Grant Program
Three Rivers Fibershed’s (TRF) Fiber Assistance Grant Program provides opportunity for individuals to access local fiber and natural dye products.
We acknowledge that locally produced materials are often higher in cost and that this can be a barrier to individuals who are interested in working with these natural fibers and dyes. As an organization, we support local shepherds and natural dyers and the skill, time, and resources that go into producing local products in a way that is good for the land, good for animals, and good for our communities.
Fiber Assistance Grants are available in the amount of $25 or $50 and are available to support individuals who are interested in working with local fiber and natural dye products, and connect them with TRF Stewards who have these products available locally. Applicants must be a resident of a state included in TRF’s strategic geography (Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, South Dakota).
