Maple Hill Shetlands is a small family farm nestled in the picturesque rural setting of beautiful north-central Minnesota. At our farm, we take pride in being breeders of fine-fleeced Shetland sheep and Romeldale/CVM sheep. We focus on enhancing their genetics to produce fleeces with captivating colors and interesting spot patterns.
Guided by the 1927 Shetland sheep standard, we uphold a tradition of excellence in breeding, ensuring each sheep embodies the essence of its heritage while also pushing boundaries with unique genetic traits.
What sets us apart is our commitment to quality. We utilize the wool from our sheep in crafting our own range of yarn products and handmade items, guaranteeing an extra-high standard of excellence.
Beyond our wool creations, we also offer breeding stock annually, along with select lambs, enabling fellow enthusiasts to embark on their own journey of raising and nurturing these remarkable creatures.
